First of all the customer service for this hotel was outstanding. The entire staff was so helpful. We had a group BBQ outside and this area was perfect for what we needed it for. This is a very nice hotel right in the heart of Ridgecrest. The rooms and breakfast were great. I would stay here again.

I was here for a week, visiting my significant other, who was staying here on an extended business trip. This establishment is located on the main road about five minutes into town and about five minutes from China Lake Naval Base. That said, it is literally on the high desert, so we found it to be surprisingly quiet given its central location.

We stayed in one of their one-bedroom suites, which, for a long term stay, is probably most suitable for one person. It had a small living room with a desk, sofa, and chair, a bar area with a mini-fridge, sink, and coffee maker. There was also a large television on a swivel on top of a small chest of drawers, which could adjust to be seen in either the living room or the small King bedroom. There was also a small basic closet and
bathroom. The room had excellent Internet and cell phone access and there was a small business center, with a printer downstairs. An ample hot breakfast is served every morning. There is a small outdoor pool, hot tub, and gym. There are some strip malls nearby with a variety of stores. It is also close to surprisingly excellent and diverse restaurant options.

Perhaps a great reason to stay here is it is only about an hour away from incredible hiking in the High Sierras, including the trailhead to Mt Whitney and Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and Death Valley. So, if driving down from Las Vegas, it offers an excellent staging area to begin a memorable outdoor vacation.

Finally, the friendly staff and the relaxed ambience make this hotel a welcoming place to return after a long day of work or hiking. I highly recommend this establishment.

Pleasantly surprised - stopover on way from Sequoia on way to Death Valley. Rooms were fantastic, reception friendly and welcoming. The pool was great but the notorious wind got up to put paid to that for long but didn't detract from a very pleasant stay.

Best hotel in Ridgecrest! Quiet comfortable rooms with everything you need for a week long stay. Mini fridge and microwave. Great shower.

Breakfast was outstanding. Coffee was available 24/7. Pool was relaxing as well.

Will return!

Booked a room at the SpringHill Suites with Marriott bonus-points for a stopover en route to Death Valley. Had no expectations and was very pleasantly surprised. The suite is spacious and has a kitchenette at the entrance, a small livingroom with workdesk, bedroom with two queen beds, two closets and bathroom. Modern and nicely decorated, very clean.

Plenty of free parking on the hotel grounds. Reception clerk was helpful and quick to give us our room. Breakfast was standard - plastic cutlery and disposable containers of cream cheese. Nice, clean breakfast area.

The hotel is on the outskirt of Ridgecrest, a couple of minutes driving to the central part.

Can strongly recommend this hotel as a spring-board for a trip to Death Valley!

I have stayed at this hotel 2 times before our stay this weekend. This time we thought we would stay somewhere cheaper Mistake 1. Mistake 2 thought we could talk to management of the other place. As soon as we walked into springhill the receptionist was polite not on her phone like the low budget motel. She accommodate us to the fullest. I asked if the place was pet friendly and she told me know but as we walked to our room we heard a dog bark which was a service dog. She asked if we want to change rooms but once in the room we could not hear the dog. Thank you for a clean, good smelling, and friendly service we will only stay here once back in Ridgecrest.

We stayed just one night at the Springhill Suites. We got a king room and it was spaciuos, clean and comfortable. Wifi is free and pretty fast. The hotel is within walking distance of a few restaurants. The one that we chose gave us a discount on our meals because we were staying at the Springhill hotel. The breakfast in the morning was relatively good and had a good variety of foods. The gym room was also good and the pool looked nice (although we didn't use it). We were originally going to stay in Bishop but this hotel in Ridgecrest was better value and a better stop on the way from Yosemite to Las Vegas if you want to go via death valley.
