Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park

Unless you have an interest in WWII historical facts, this may seem a bit boring. The memorial was less than spectacular and I expected a lot more information. However, the Red Oak Victory ship tour was fun and informative. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.

If you are in the area then drop by and see the memorial in the park. It was cold and windy when we went so we did not stay long. What is there is fascinating to read, and in the years ahead when they build a visitors center it will be much more illuminating.
