My party of six had a perfect Sunday brunch here yesterday. The only glitch was that the host apparently got my name wrong and we were initially escorted to a smaller table, but we were quickly given a nice table for six in a quiet indoor corner. We wanted indoor seating as it was much quieter. There were two parties of about 15 as in addition to poorly played Mexican style music outside in a well covered dining area. There were few diners inside and the door to the outside was open so we had a nice gentle breeze from San Francisco Bay, but no noise came through the doorway which was twenty feet away from our table. We had a view of the harbor through the large windows.
Service was perfect, although a bit on the cold side. Diners can order blue bottle Saratoga sparkling water which is the best bottled water I have ever tasted. It is free of sodium and most other reportable minerals.
We started with two appetizer plates. One had lightly fried shellfish, onions, and green beans. The other had smoked salmon on french bread and two vegetable items. Both were perfectly delicious. Be aware that unlike these two fixed price items, the Mediterranean appetizer plate is charged $9 per person and can be very expensive for a large party.
My main course was perfectly cooked salmon with a very light honey style glaze served over greens and tomatoes in a light vinaigrette dressing. I tasted my wife's delicious crab Louie salad. The other diners also marked on the perfection of their meals.
The restaurant was well under half full between 11:30 and 1:00, both indoors and outdoors, and its website did not provide for Sunday brunch reservations for future dates. I hope they continue to serve Sunday brunch. I have also eaten lunch here during the week and it was just as perfect.
