This is the funky-est place in RWC, an unusual joint. It's got a bunch of different rooms - upstairs, downstairs, the garden out back, the back bar. There's usually something going on, and although the acts are B grade, it's always the kind of place where everyone's having fun. The food is really an afterthought - not the best place on that particular street (Donato and Martin's West on either side), but once you're enjoying the cover band or blues jam, you just don't care. Also good for holing up after a long day and having a glass of wine - no hard liquor. It also works for renting out for corp parties, probably the best space like this in RWC.

You're right — there's always something funky (and fun!) going on around Angelicas! And since our renovations, things are even better. If you haven't been by recently, we'd love to get your opinion on the changes!

First time there after just moving to town. Good menu, great beer and wine list. Really friendly staff. Construction going right now - was a little confusing how to get inside. Will be back with me wife soon.

What a cool place! Thanks to Jessica J. for introducing us!

We came on a night with tix to see some mo-town and jazz impersonators: Billie Holiday, the Temptations, Chaka Khan, etc. etc. They were so great! My fiance who does not, shall we say, got the moves like Jagger, even got up and danced! (Although that may have had something to do with the delectable scotch ale he had four of!)

The food is really good too-- my salade nicoise was savory and peppery, and the ahi tuna was really tender and delicious. Meanwhile my fiance had a look of just total bliss after his first bite of grilled salmon.

Between the pear cider snake bites, tasty foods, and event tickets, it's easy to rachet up a serious bill here... Not a place to come when the dollars are dwindling. And this will only get more dangerous when they have their full bar up and running!

Food is good, wine list is good, venue is rustic and events are very interesting, from live Blues to Jazz to Tango performances.

We had the best time here...."Lies My Mother Told Me" was the show ...Jackie is an outstanding talent. The venue is charming, old, with a true cabaret feeling, and a good sound system. I'd like to see other shows here. The food was good...the bread pudding was knock your socks off. Bring your flashlight in case the lights go out....they did that night! The service was slow, and they were not prepared to be without electronic billing for totaling up the tables during the power loss...
