We booked this hotel because it was pet friendly and the ratings were high. Upon check-in the agent recommended the 4th floor if we were concerned about noise - it was quiet but this is the strangest layout I have ever seen. Obviously, the 2nd building with the 4th floor was an addition. There is no connecting elevator and the stairs are seriously confusing. This building would be a fire trap because of the layout and signage. The decor is seriously dated and the door knobs and frames had visible dirt . My husband calls me a germophobe because I clean everything with hospital grade disinfectant (yes, I work in healthcare). I am glad I did because the white facecloth was definitely not white after I was finished. Stay at the Comfort Inn next door if you have pets (pet fee is $10 versus $25) and be forewarned all the rooms are pet friendly if you have allergies.

Room Tip: choose the top floor - but not the 4th floor in the addition

The rooms were nice. The beds were nice. Overall, I'd rate them a 3 or 3.5, however, we paid for a romance package which was supposed to include a bottle of wine or sparkling wine, a tote bag, and wine opener and we never received it. Extremely disappointed.

We stopped overnight just in time for the end of happy hour, which was nice after a long day driving. Room was very nice, well-appointed, clean and quiet. Internet worked well. It was a handicapped room (and we're not handicapped) but that was fine. Was on the 3rd floor I think. Slept comfortably then had a good breakfast in the morning; good variety, average quality. Breakfast room was very crowded so had to sit in the lobby to eat. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel. Had read a review about a previous guest experiencing allergic reaction to pets, so was concerned for my son who is allergic to cats, but no problems for him at all. I didn't even see any pets around but I think those rooms are on the first floor. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: ask for a room on a higher floor, and away from the pet friendly rooms if you don't have pets.

Chose the Oxford Suites Redding because they presented themselves as a pet-friendly venue. They weren't kidding. They were genuinely welcoming to all of us. The room was clean, comfortable & well-appointed. Happy hour & complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations. Would unhesitatingly recommend this relaxing oasis.

We were in town for a wedding and our relatives booked a room for us at the Oxford Suites. Nice location, lots of restaurants and stores along Hilltop Drive. We didn't arrive until 9:00 p.m. and were greeted by a very pleasant girl at check-in. Happy hour was in progress, so we received 2 drink tickets. Room was nice, bed was very comfortable. Shower was great. The sink is in the hallway outside the bathroom, I personally don't like this set-up, but worked out fine for our family. VERY QUIET hotel. We were there over Labor Day and it was packed, but we never heard any doors slamming or any noise in the hallways. Lots of parking. Breakfasts were good, not a huge selection, but they have something hot (bacon, eggs, sausage and biscuits, french toast and bacon) every morning. Can eat in the dining area or they have tables outside. Logan's restaurant is next door and has good food. Check-out was hassle-free. Pool is small, but nice. Loved the cookies and apples they set out for the guests.

We had a room on the second floor above the bar/lounge that looked out onto parking area. Good-sized room with separate sitting area including fridge and microwave. Cute courtyard with pool, hot-tub, a few tables with umbrellas, and enough green to cover any sign of the commercial ugliness surrounding the hotel. Evening perks included 2 free drinks per family member and a complimentary salad bar. (My bloody mary was very strong.) Night was quiet and we slept well. friendly and fast service from the front desk. Overall, good value for the dollar.

Nice spacious room clean and confortable They even had a small snack type thing in the evening it was on the night we were there a salad and some rolls and you could get a drink it started at 530 in the evening. I have not run across that before and thought it was a nice thing. This hotel had a small store with snacks and a few other things to purchase. The breakfast was actually served like a cafeteria style with someone asking you what you want and serving you behind the counter. Not bad selections eggs pancakes sausage and then had some bread items.. There was actually enough seating which was great as well. Next door to Marie Callenders a treat if you want a nice dessert to take back to your room

Room Tip: Sometimes the noise from the pool was loud Maybe a room away from the pool if you want more quiet
