If you're driving along I-5 and need a place to stop, this works pretty good. For the price ($62) it works as a no-frills, crash for the night and go the next morning. There is a small outdoor pool, basic cereal and toast continental breakfast and no elevator.

Don't bother. Starting with the foul-smelling lobby, to the tiny room with the awful furniture/decor, the defunct swimming pool, threadbare towels, and the noisy electrical transformer out the window, this was a bad idea. Oh, and a hotel clerk who could not give me any idea where to get a pizza. Mind you, the clerk was pleasant, and check-in was quick. Wi-fi was good, hot-tub okay.

We spent our memorial weekend at Super 8, Redding. Location was very convenient just at the I-5 Chun Creek exit which has 2 gas stations across the street. Room was clean (including the beddings and bathroom) and no smell of the smoke. Even though that weekend was very full, surprisingly it was still quiet at night. The only thing that can be improved may be is the breakfast bread, which can be fresher, other than that, coffee/milk/juice/cereals are ok. Overall, I will say it was a good experience with this motel, next time if I go to Redding, I will consider staying there again :)

We stayed here on our way to Anaheim and it was a totally exceptable place to stop and get cleaned up and sleep. I was actually a tiny bit impressed as most budget hotels located on interstates arent as clean and friendly. The room had comfy beds, bathtubs, coffee maker and blowdryer and provided shampoos and soaps. (which you know who motel 6 does not) They also had a continental breakfast, and the lady brought out all new stuff as soon as we sat down. She was really friendly. The only negative I have is the tv was placed on the dresser in a really sketchy manner. It was too big and too heavy to be on the dresser. Being with my kids, it made me nervous, but I just kept them away, not a big deal. Overall, it was not bad.

we stayed in a room with two queen size beds ; they did not change the beddings on one of the bed. the layout of the sink for washing up was separated from the bathroom with no counter space for anything else. someone try to enter our room at 1 pm at night , we called the office and they said they had put the wrong room # on the registration; they don't seem to care! the continental breakfast is a joke! we stayed at the super 8 at yreka on the way down and they were great! DON'T STAY AT THIS ONE! you'll be sorry!

We stayed there twice on our road trip to the bay area. The people working at the front desk were very helpful giving us great recommendations for restaurants as well as taking care of some of the needs (extra pillows) when we asked for them; they always had a pleasant smile when helping us.
The beds were firm and comfortable. We had the A.C. on all night that kept us from hearing any noises outside the hotel (freeway) or from the halls.
They had a nice pool our 7 year old played in for a couple of hours before taking a soak in their hot tub to warm up. The continental breakfast was basic but filling. I would stay at this hotel again.
