My family was up in Redding for a drive through this weekend, spending the night. We used the trip advisor advice and stopped in for a very good dinner. Very nice, helpful staff. Delicious garlic bread right out of the oven. Large yummy salads. Grapes between the starters and the mains-nice touch. Our meals-lasagna, tofu veggie bowl with rice pilaf, pasta, and a Caesar salad- were all nicely prepared and delicious. Perfectly sized portions (even had leftovers). If we are back in the Redding area we will definitely go back. Nothing negative to say about this restaurant.

Susan who is co-owner of Tiffany House B&B sent us here to this surprisingly empty restaurant. The empty ambiance was nice. We arrived at 9 pm on a Saturday. It seems Redding Ca goes to bed at 10 on Saturdays. The staff may have been a little anxious to go home because our entree was fired before we were even close to finishing our salads. This meant my husband's BBQ ribs were a tad room temp. The special pecan sweet potatoes seemed blended with pumpkin so they lacked the sweetness that was reserved for the ribs. My Lasagna -while flavorful and satisfying -needed a side of garlic bread so I ordered some. The bread was chewy and greasy instead of crusty and garlicky. Would I go back? Yes because the food had some flaws but it was creative and tasty.

The owner/chef & his wife are so charming and they bring fabulous French food with amazing wine. Their house white wine they found in France on their honeymoon and decided to import it for the restaurant.

There was a menu at our B & B from Cafe Paradiso, so we decided to give it a try and were glad we did.
Meats and accompaniments are ordered separately which was great for me, being gluten-free. We shared a salad and I had chicken and wild rice. Very tasty. Reasonable prices.
Also , very attentive service...looks like a good option for Redding diners for Valentines if you can still get a table :)

We have had the great pleasure of dining at both lunch and dinner at the Cafe Paradisio recently…we had been hearing their sponsorship on JPR (which is much appreciated) but did not jump in to try it until the last month, since which we have been back twice. It is great!! Fresh salads and veggies. Lovely wine choices, especially the French wine. Nice waitpeople. The chef was nice to talk with. We'll be back
