Owner description: Scheduled for completion in Summer 2004, this unusually designed bridge, functioning as a sundial at one end and conveying a sense of weightlessness, connects the north and south campuses of Turtle Bay Exploration Park.

The bridge is different from any bridge I have ever seen. Very peaceful walk across about 400 yards. No charge. Good idea to bring a picnic and enjoy the afternoon

The unique bridge's architecture is fascinating, and furnishes great views of the Sacramento River below. After crossing the bridge, we walked along a section of the Sacramento River Trail, looking for birds. The tall trees were alive with bird songs, and we were delighted to add several birds to our life list.

Drove to Redding CA to check out this bridge. We had trouble finding our way to the bridge because the signs are confusing, but once we found the parking lot it was well worth it. We parked and walked over the bridge which had a glass bottom and large sundial over a beautiful river. If you have time you could walk along the trails by the river, or ride your bikes etc. There was a museum and gift store as well as a restaurant right by the bridge. There also was a gardens across the bridge.

Beautiful bridge! There are so many things to do at this park. There are gardens, a museum, outside cafe. The gift store has some very nice things for reasonable prices that you will not find anywhere else. The walking paths are beautiful!

Public art defines a place -- this bridge is fantastic. Go. Don't miss walking on it, and around it, and under it.
