“Life in the wild”
Reviewed November 28, 2013

Although it is on the edge of town, a walk on this trail makes you feel like you are miles out in the country. The scenery is awesome, and the natural wild life is impressive. This trail is a must for anyone that enjoys the outdoors or nature. A must see for sure.

“Lots of walking or biking”
Reviewed November 26, 2013

we're on it all the time walking ourselves or our dog. Love the gardens too. we go there almost everyday and weekends. enjoy the long walk around across the "sun dial" bridge. follow the signs and the people. there's coffee and food at the southside of the bridge...enjoy especially in the fall and spring

“Sacramento River Trail Hike, Bike or Rollerblade”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

A great trail that follows the Sacramento River 18 miles from Sundial Bridge to Shasta Dam. You can cross just below Keswick Dam and return or take the trail all the way beyond Keswick Dam to Shasta Dam.

“Best biking in the Northstate!”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

We ride the trail all year long. It is beautiful and gives access to many miles of river and mountain views. Terrain is not too difficult. You could spend all day just walking or biking here.
