We vacationed in Cabo with extended family for many years and although the sandy beaches are missing, it's wonderful. The staff deserve kudos for their humbleness, helpfulness, and their ability to make you feel comfortable, No snootyness.

It's a bit pricey, but offers so much for a grand stay. The ocean view is perfect, nice pool, feels safe with kids. There are restaurants on the property and nearby including the Trump Gold course restaurants and Tea Time. For those fellow believers, the Wayfarer Chapel 5 min away is a NOT MISS. Enjoy.

We had the opportunity to spend the weekend with good friends over Easter weekend. We occupied one of the casitas which was terrific. The casitas are separate buildings located away from the main hotel. The casitas are basically one bedroom condos with luxury kitchens. You can book the adjoining units to create up to a 3 bedroom unit.

The resort is located near the beach (it's on the site of the former Marineland); there is a trail that runs adjacent to the beach which is great for walks or jogging.

The hotel has a 140' waterslide; however, our 10 year old son found that it was geared more towards younger kids; it was a bit too slow for his taste!

One of the highlights of the hotel is their high end restaurant, Mar'sel. Cuisine is contemporary French/American. The restaurant is fairly small; so make sure to book your reservations well in advance of your stay. We also had Easter brunch at the Catalina Kitchen which was terrific! In addition to the regular brunch items; they had a waffle station (made to order); and a fantastic seafood bar (mussels; king crab legs; shrimp; oysters on the half shell).

As far as "negatives"; the resort is large and they use golf carts to transport you - during high traffic times it can be a wait to get a cart. Also, parking is limited; even though they offer self parking; the lot is usually full; so valet parking is your only alternative.

Room Tip: Book a casita if you can afford it; you'll appreciate the privacy and space

Absolutely gorgeous place, the view, the Casitas, the food, everything about this Place is excellent, I did not pay for my stay at this resort, my boss did, and I will never forget what a real 5 star resort looks like, I am spoiled for life. Love every minute of it.

Room Tip: I did not use the Spa, but I heard is pretty amazing. We stayed at the Casitas, I guess they are mos...

We were part of a conference and were here for 3 nights. We were fortunate to stay in one of the bungalows. Very nice accomodations, almost like your own little apartment Bed was very comfy. Food was good, as good as buffet selections can be. Only issue was we were charged for parking which we did not utilize, but it was resolved when it was brought to the attention of the front desk staff. Had a facial and massage at the spa. Massage was very relaxing and facial was one of the best!

We stayed here for two nights over our honeymoon. The view is unbelievable. We have never stayed in a hotel this nice, and may never again. The room was immaculate and the bathroom was amazing. It was an experience we will never forget. There was a variety of dining options, many of which are fairly reasonable.

This property is located in a beautiful setting! When we arrived, the front desk clerk assured me she had a room with two double beds ready for us...but I had requested a King bed. After a few minutes, she said she had found a king bed on the second level. I was a bit worried that our weekend was off to a bad start, but things were wonderful after that. Yes, I would have enjoyed the view from an upper floor, but we still had a lovely view of the ocean and a green lawn in front of our patio. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was spacious. The staff we encountered were all very friendly, concerned that we were having a great time. We dined at Catalina Kitchen, where I received a free entree since we were celebrating my dinner. The food was excellent and we enjoyed dining on the patio. When we returned to our room, I found a box of chocolates and a large bottle of water with a birthday card.

The following morning, we didn't want a large breakfast and were thrilled to discover that Sea Beans, the little coffee place on the property, offered real oatmeal for only $4. We got ours to go and sat at a picnic table overlooking the ocean...lovely! Later, we had lunch at Nelson's. The food was great and we loved the view.

We observed whales on Saturday; on Sunday, a whale was quite close to shore. What a thrill. There are great pathways around the property. It is a pleasure to walk through the grounds and admire the views.

Me and my husband loved the place, location is great, great for walking along the ocean, great for golfing, parties, and weddings, food and hotel staff was great. They have several restaurants and coffee shops to choose for food. Planning to return with other members with my family.
