“Great Food”

Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort
Reviewed May 25, 2014 via mobile

We had a horrible time checking in, they gave our room away since it was a busy weekend, even thoigh we already paid, and said we would have to stay somewhere else. This was after I had called and emailed to reschedule the check in date for the next day. However, as soon as we checked in there was a BBQ put on by Chef Joel and Chef Shawn. We told them we were pescatarian, and they made us a gourmet dinner. It was so awesome, we totally forgot our 2 hour check in nightmare. So the second night of our stay we had to go to Pinzamini. Chef Joel was there and made us the best 5 course meal ever. Wow. I work in the food industry and am very picky about food and service. The service there as top notch and the food was even better. Thank you for making our weekend the best ever. We will for sure be back!!!!

Stayed at Westin Mission Hills after a long day of golf. Found the room to be very nice and comfortable. I would stay here again. The pools were very nice and the pool provided towels to cover lounge chairs and a second towel to dry off with.

There's a lot to like about the Westin, including comfortable rooms, nice room amenities, and hotel facilities. There two golf courses, a walking path and a reasonable workout room. The staff is friendly and courteous and very responsive. The ice machine in our section was out of order and I mentioned it yo a staff member and the next day it was fixed. Each room has a lanai that is designed to give you complete privacy- a huge plus.

First impression: place is nice, smells nice great views.
And that's pretty much were it ends. The staff is not great not good and not OK. Lazy slow uninterested! The check-in is a joke. Reservations were "hard" to find and then tried to stick us in a building next to the construction area. Ya ladies and gents full on construction on the property for the next "5 years". Doesn't really say that when booking. All booked up is the story we got with all of 15-20 cars in the lot. After threatening to go elsewhere, magically a prime room was available away from the construction zone.
The room is awesome. Great views overlooking the fairway. If the staff could just realize where they are working.

Had a great weekend with my wife and daughter. Our daughter must've ridden the water slide 300 times in two days. Rooms are comfortable and updated. The grounds are expansive and well maintained. Just a really fun weekend in 100 degree weather
