“What Happen to KOBE ?”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

Read ALL the reviews & notice the ones where food was over cooked!!!

That is exactly what happen @ our table & the one next to us, as I talk with patrons who sat @ our table afterwards in the garden & it seems to be a pattern!! Not even the butter can save over-cooked food !

You pay to be entertained by the Chef who tries to engaged the table which did not happen, with 1 shrimp cut in two being offered to the table. What happened to the Show? So without the shrimp flying & specials cooking tricks, with amazing skilled knife works, bring us to the Food.

WOW, the WORST Garlic Spicy Rice EVER!!! Even the regular Rice was soggy & tasteless & he makes it right there. But over cooking the Filet, Scallops & Prawns is just WRONG !!!

NO ONE @ our Table was impressed & the 18% Gratuity added as a couple was an insult! No one left more to thank the Chef for making the evening fun or had me wanting to come back!

“Always Awesome!”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

Showed up without a reservation and so we sat in the bar and had some great tropical drinks for 15 minutes. The food was excellent as always. The staff is very entertaining and attentive. Love the decor and garden! It's just perfect.

“Good Japanese dinner”
Reviewed August 1, 2012

We had no reservations but waited for about 20 min on a Sunday evening, full house and food was good not too pricy but staff attitude has to adjust a bit if they don't want customers to have an impressions that we are all coming here to have fast food. Didn't want to give you too much time to think what you want to order and always in a rush. May be they want 1 more table rotation. The Vibe was there but there's still room to improve on food quality and variety.

“Not how I remembered”
Reviewed July 27, 2012 via mobile

This was my friends and I second visit. From the moment we sat down the whole experience wasn't the same as the fist time. Our triple combo was average at best. The chef had a tendency to over cook quality meat which was criminal! The ambience was also strange which definately impacted our enjoyment. Unfortunately I won't be going back.
