Nice ambiance (inside, rainy day), huge outdoor patio, passable Mexican food but a tad pricey and smallish portions.

“Very good service”
Reviewed July 13, 2009

We visited Las Casuelas Nuevas on Saturday July 11th. We had a large party of 9, which included 2 children. Even without a reservation, we were seated within 5 minutes. Waiters were attentive and quickly refilled our drinks and chips/salsa when needed. Food prices are a little high but was very tasty. When the waiter found out we were there to celebrate my husband's birthday, the staff sang Happy Birthday to him and brought him a free dessert. We always make it a point to dine at one of the Las Casuelas when we visit the area.

“Poor service”
Reviewed May 5, 2009

We had a large group and looked forward to a happy time, but our waiter was rude and service was poor overall. The food was okay. We did not enjoy our experience here and may not go back.

“RELAX and enjoy yourself!”
Reviewed April 7, 2009

My husband and I went (small group) on a Saturday night with a reservation. We really enjoyed ourselves and had a fun time. We weren't expecting haute cuisine or anything we knew we'd be getting American Mexican type food so we weren't disappointed that it wasn't "real" Mexican food, it was chips, salsa, guacamole, enchilada type food and big drinks. And I thought for unauthentic Mexican food it was quite tasty. We sat outdoors on a warm night on the patio and had a good server who was fun and enthusiastic, we had decent service and he was attentive. The mariachi band added a festive mood, and it seemed like everyone around us was having fun too. The prices were a bit higher for my taste but I thought it was worth it.

“Always had a good time here”
Reviewed September 28, 2008

Had dinner here a few times. Brunch is always fun. Plenty of items to choose from and a nice patio area outside to sit at. Very relaxing.

I get a kick out of some of these reviews. Its just a Mexican restaurant. Thats it. You can have margaritas, beans rice, and everything that goes with it. Again, its just a Mexican restaurant. Mexican food made by Mexican people - and some say its not authentic??? Maybe they have never been to Mexico.
