“Always had a good time here”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2008

Had dinner here a few times. Brunch is always fun. Plenty of items to choose from and a nice patio area outside to sit at. Very relaxing.

I get a kick out of some of these reviews. Its just a Mexican restaurant. Thats it. You can have margaritas, beans rice, and everything that goes with it. Again, its just a Mexican restaurant. Mexican food made by Mexican people - and some say its not authentic??? Maybe they have never been to Mexico.

“Review from a traveler .... Not very good”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2008

The restaurant is suprisingly overated and is not very good all around. The food is not authentic Mexican, fairly bland, and overpriced for the quality being served. I can't even say the chips and salsa were good, so my advice is just to avoid this place.

“Not for me”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 7, 2007

I have eaten here twice to my great disappointment. The food is average, but the service has been dismal both times. I was in a large group of gay men both times, and I have to say I got the feeling that our patronage was not all that welcome even though it was just a vibe I got and no concrete evidence.

“Not very authentic”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2007

I still can't understand why this restaurant gets good reviews. It must be a lack of diners who have not eaten authentic Mexican. The chips taste stale, the salsa is tasteless and the food generally is American Mexican. I live in the area and if you are looking for really great authentic Mexican try Mamacitas on the low price end (and little atmosphere) or the best in the valley is El Mirasol in Palm Springs. They make a mole sauce that is to die for! Have fun!
