The world has changed in a number of ways because of meetings held here at Sunnylands. You can't help but to feel part of it as you stroll through the house. It was awe inspiring and such a beautiful setting.

Took me a few years to finally get reservations to tour the Sunny-lands home. Was well worth it. Lots of history and famous people passed and still pass throughout those portals. Most recently O bama spent sometime in meetings there. Lots of history. You need reservations to tour the actual house and grounds but the gardens are open to the public. They are very beautiful

Worth seeing. Beautiful and interesting. The grounds are gorgeous and the house is full of amazing art, architectural style and unusual decor. The tour must be booked in advance, online, with very strict rules for when you can book. Recommend it for everyone (except young children who would not likely find it too interesting).

Sunnylands exceeded our already high expectations. The history, architecture, interior design, art work and grounds are all spectacular. The visitor’s center fits the property perfectly and the gardens are beautiful. Take the time to watch the movie about the Annenbergs and history of the estate. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Tickets for the house tour sell out quickly so go to the website, ready the procedure and be at your computer on the on-sale date.

A visit to Sunnylands is a must when visiting Palm Desert. The visitor center is free and offers guided tours of the extensive gardens. These are desert, not botanical gardens and we got to see plants and trees that are native to the desert landscape. The visitor center offers an excellent cafe with views of the gardens and the mountains in the background. Plan to spend about two hours on your visit.. No reservations are needed to go the visitor center but it does get crowded later in the morning as everyone wants to finish before it gets too hot.
