If you get a chance, I would recommend trying to get tickets to take a tour of this really interesting place in history.

Simple booking ahead online as small groups and only a few people with each guide at a time.
Exterior tour is on a small shuttle tram. Hence never crowded. Cafe and entry hall are wonderful. Parking easy.

This estate including its own golf course was owned by Walter Annenberg, previous Ambassador to England. He and his wife were incredible philanthropic people. This just opened to the public in the past year and you must MAKE RESERVATIONS to tour the house. (IN ADVANCE...go to website. Price $35 for home tour but you are allowed to enter the visitor center, walk the grounds and enjoy the cafe. I would recommend you don't miss the house.

The house, the grounds, views of the mountains, the stories, the photos, the videos, the movie make this one of the most wonderful places I've ever visited and I've traveled all over the world. There is walking and a cart ride around the grounds. Be prepared to be on your feet for at least an hour.

Ronald and Nancy Reagan spent 19 New Years Eves here partying with the rich and famous every year.

My only complaint; the room of dreams has so many photos and other wonderful things to read that they don't give you enough time to browse.

I spent 2 hours and 20 minues there. They have a cute cafe overlooking the grounds and mountains. Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Yummy.

DON'T MISS THIS IF VISITING THE DESERT.

What a wonderful treat to visit the Sunnylands Visitor Center. Presidents, Heads of State, Dignitaries and Royalty have been here. The visitor's center gives you a great review of the building's history.

A unique experience to walk through one of the most unique homes in the world. Everything from the setting to the details of the William Haines interiors were superb. I cannot say enough of this new "attraction"
