A unique experience to walk through one of the most unique homes in the world. Everything from the setting to the details of the William Haines interiors were superb. I cannot say enough of this new "attraction"

You do have to make advance reservations. It's a 90 minute tour and enjoyed every minute of it. Bring water and a camera.

We took the tour today of the estate and gardens. You can only book the tour online on the 1st & 15th of the month and there are limited days & hours. Cost is $36 per person. The grounds are well tended and the staff were very professional. Make sure you only take a small purse or you will be asked to check your bag into a locker. The tour is 90 minutes and they take you on a golf cart around the grounds and into the residence. No camera's are allowed in the residence but allowed on the grounds & gardens . Our guide said we could wander but when we looked around we were asked by security to stay with the guide.
The Annenberg's had lots of connections with the rich & famous and royalty so there are lots of interesting pictures to look at.

This is a fascinating example of Modernist architecture. You learn about the estate and gardens as well as the Annenbergs. It has all been put together very well. It's not easy to get here without a car, but it is worth it.

This historic residence is preserved much like a museum. The guides are very well trained interns from local colleges, who impart a tremendous amount of interesting information on a 1.5 hour tour of the main house, golf course and guest houses. The digitally preserved art is a bit off-putting, but it does give one an idea of what the family and invited guests must have experienced in this magnificently preserved mid-century modern home, surrounded by the private golf course. More of the family history and collectibles should be displayed in the visitor center. It would enhance the experience.
