My wife were driving through the Palm Springs area and needed to grab lunch on our way to Arizona. The Grand Palms Buffet is at the Agua Caliente Casino, which is conveniently located adjacent to the 10 Freeway on Bob Hope Drive. The price of $14.99 was quite reasonable and all of the salads and entree items were very good. The wait staff were also very attentive. The only negative was their desserts. Like I have found in many casino buffets, the desserts were visually appealling but tasted terrible. They do have an ice cream machine so after my wife and I tried several disappointing dessert items, we gave up and had the ice cream which was very good. I recommend this location as a very good place to grab lunch sans dessert.

The staff members in the buffet are downright miserable. The carving station lady was not pleased to cut a piece of chicken for me, and it was ice cold, the dessert pie lady was miserable to all of us. The waiter who got our drinks seemed so unhappy to be working here.
The food is mediocre. One can certainly find enough to eat and fill up, but the 80's music was blasting and there is no joy in a virtually empty buffet on a friday night.
You would think that the owners of the casino would attempt to find out why and remedy it. But no. Not here.

Average tasting food and the prices are on the high side. If you are staying at the hotel or playing in the casino for an extended time, it can be a pretty quick meal and there is a large variety. If they would increase the quality of the food, this would be a much better place to dine.

This is just your average buffet and nothing special. We stopped here on a Monday night on our way home from vacation. Some of the food appeared to be a bit old (dried up and crusty) yet other options looked fresher. The only highlight of the Buffet was the service..which was awesome!

Food was just average, for the price on a Friday nite. The waiter made sure our drinks were full and the plated cleared as we finished.
