“Very Beautiful Views; Okay Course”
Reviewed January 2, 2012

The Rancho Mirage golf course has really amazing views on almost every single hole. The course is in good condition and the staff are friendly. We got a terrific deal which included a sleeve of balls each, cart, practice balls and cart. Unfortunately, the lunch cart didn't appear until well after 1. The course is not particularly long with only three sets of tees. Pace of play was also on the slow side. The views, however, made up for a lot.

“Great start, for a rusty golfer”
Reviewed July 6, 2011

This was the first round of 6 that we played in the Palm Springs area, our first visit, and we found the course to be challenging, but not too challenging. Relatively flat, with a few water hazards, the course was a bit shorter than we were used to, but was in good condition. Greens were also in good condition. No GPS on carts. Most of the holes had houses surrounding them, which we were to find out is fairly typical for the area. The price was good, we received a Twilight rate through Standby Golf. There were no blind shots or extreme doglegs, what you see is what you get, which we appreciated. Service at the clubhouse was fine. In summary, we had a good round at an enjoyable course, and received good value for the cost.

“good but narrow golf course”
Reviewed March 15, 2010

this is an old style golf course with narrow fairways and smaller greens. the club is pretty and the views are scenic. the holes have quite a lot of shot value. many require approaches over water. this is not a course for the faint of heart. if you slice or hook the ball, you will most likely end up in the neighboring fairway. there are a number of long - 469, for example - par fours but only two par fives. the par 3's are generally short. it is a fun course to play and a very good price value if you play the twilight which starts at 12:30. i couldn't find the bar for an after the round drink.
