Awesome! We took two 2 1/2 yr old girls here for a few hours in June. They loved it!

The best recommendation for this museum I can give is that my two daughters (aged 5 and 8) happily spent three hours here and I had to entice them away with an offer of ice-cream and a swim. I am sure they would have been happy to stay even longer.

The girls particularly loved the grocery store, the pizza kitchen and playing dress-ups, but equally there are plenty of things for boys to do. Probably best suited for children under 8.

If you're travelling with toddlers and preschoolers, this is a great place to kill some time. But if your kids are over 4,don't bother. It's not a science museum; it's a play museum with little to offer older kids.

We were looking for a place to take our two children for fun- we found it at the Children's Discovery Museum. Great hands-on exhibits and learning experiences that were cool and fun! As parents we look for family activities that are interesting and meaningful- the Museum has it all

Staff and volunteers were very helpful! Great store for educational toys- the Museum is worth every penny! We will make the Museum a stop every time we go to the Palm Springs area.

We head to the Desert every March to visit the grandparents, and no trip is complete without a stop at this marvellous museum. It is completely hands-on, and has many excellent attractions for children from toddlers to the cool pre-teen age group. Our kids have been going annually for about 7 years now, and still are not bored with all of the things to do and explore in this museum. They 'make' and serve pizza, climb the rock wall, dig for dinosaur bones, follow the twisty paths, take apart and rebuild computers, and MUST paint the VW Bug! There are crafts, an extensive dress-up area, a mini-shop where the kids buy groceries with their very own bank cards, as well as nooks and crannies we still have not yet discovered. This is a most wonderful place for a visit, and even the quality of the toys in the gift shop is superb!

Give it a try; you'll have a great time!
