Description: Where did the Lazy Dog Cafe name come from? One snowy afternoon, walking back into the lodge after a long morning on the slopes, Chris noticed a dog lying by the toasty fireplace. Commenting to his buddies on how much he loved his time hanging out there, he told them he wished everyone could enjoy life as much as that "lazy dog' by the fire. On their last run down the ski slopes in Jackson Hole, everyone has one thing on their mind: get these skis off and head to the lodge. Whether you're sitting by the fire or bellying up to the bar, the servers and bartenders know what you like and treat you like you're one of the family. The lodge has cold beer, hot chocolate, incredible food and great music, making it the place to be in town. Just like the lodge in Jackson Hole, the Lazy Dog offers the perfect environment for all ages, making the entire restaurant the place to be for a quick dinner with the family, a meandering meal with friends or a night out on the town!

“Awesome array of choices on the menu, great outdoor seating”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2014

I was visiting from the snowy Midwest and wanted to enjoy the warm temperatures in California, so I asked a coworker where we could go for lunch with outdoor seating. He took me to the Lazy Dog Café, which had a great outdoor patio. I love the wide variety of choices on the menu, with an interesting mix of ingredients and side choices. Service was excellent! When I was back on another business trip a few weeks later, Lazy Dog was at the top of my request list!

“Solid Restaurant to Eat at if You're in the Area”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2014 via mobile

This place has a pretty good atmosphere and a nice beer selection. My wife and I split the Baja Shrimp Tacos. I remember them being pretty good - she thought they were "ok". It wasn't bad at all - just not stellar.

If I were in the area again, I would totally give it another go. The menu was varied and probably had some great stuff on there.

“Like everything I've had here”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2014 via mobile

Eaten here 3 times for lunch and once for dinner in a week. Everything I've had was very good. Reasonable price for the quality. Think it might be a chain, but very good nonetheless.

“Dogs welcomed”

A large variety of food and drinks, outside seating with your dog is available. Everything tastes good. Weekend brunch in the bar to watch the game is great.

“Great Atmosphere and Awesome Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2014

We stopped here after a very long day of work and were greatfully surprised when we walked into this amazing place. The decor reminds me of being out in the woods with all your friends. I had the chicken wing appetizer, soy salmon and best of all the apple cobbler. Best wings in Southern California! Apple Cobbler is the best I have ever eaten. It has a very light and not too sweet topping. If you like apple cobbler, this is the one you should try. Our experience was so great, we went back the next night. If the weather permits, try dining outside.
