Stayed here at the end of September. Very clean. While the bathroom was a little dated, everything worked fine and the rest of the facility was lovely. Well maintained resort. The best thing was free wine tasting on Friday night from local wineries. We had a flat tire and the resort was more than helpful - the site maintenance put air in our tire so we could drive to Ramona to get it repaired. Friendly folks in the town too. Enjoyed the apple pie in Julian and did day trips into San Diego and surroundings. A little far away from the city, but we were fine with that. We even drove all the way to Joshua Tree National Park as a (long) day trip.

We decided on San Diego Country Estates over Christmas as it worked into our plans for spending time in and around the San Diego area. We used it as our home base and were able to adventure from there.
Everything that you need is in the room, including a washer and dryer which worked out well as we need to do laundry prior to continuing on our holidays to Mexico. The room was huge as a one bedroom and it felt like you were home. We didn't take in any activities that the resort offered except for borrowing DVDs. We did miss out on one of the wine sampling nights where local winery's bring in some if their wines - disappointed to say the least.

If you’re a timeshare owner that trades a great deal, than you’ve probably regretted a few trades, but there’s usually one or two you can bank on being a good stay. This one is one of those places that doesn’t disappoint. Most timeshares these days are quickly losing their value, but not this one. The suite is quite spacious and has recently been renovated. It has a well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer in the room, patio seating, grill, and a comfortable pullout couch. The facility boasts sprawling manicured lawns, tennis courts, pool, and ample parking. The only downside I saw was that it doesn’t have a whole lot of handicapped accessible ramp or elevators. That might not be too much of an issue if you get a lower level suite. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. They pick up trash and exchange towels daily if you need. What I love about this timeshare is it’s proximity to Julian and San Diego. When we’re in town, we never miss the San Diego Safari Park, which is so close! A short and scenic drive will put you in Julian for some apple pie and antique shopping. We didn’t go to Julian on this drive because of snow tire restrictions. I’m glad to know that some timeshares are still trying. I highly recommend.

The title of my review says it all. The housekeeping staff was especially helpful, kind and efficient. Resort is close to Julian and the winter snows. I recommend A day trip or two into San Diego. If you play tennis or pickle ball or any of the "Net" sports this is the place for you!

Everything about this resort was among the best we've encountered. The front desk personnel were very helpful. They checked us in quickly and answered all of our questions. We were very pleased with our unit. It was spacious and comfortable. The cleaning service was excellent - daily! The resort is located in a beautiful setting - as soon as we walked outside, we looked up at the surrounding mountains (about 2,000'), We enjoyed the tennis and pickleball courts and the heated pool..
