“Savory Cuban Sandwich and amazing pistachio lime meringue pie!”

Brezo (translation: heather)! Made this a destination from Marin, and it was a very easy trip across the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge to Pt. Richmond (non-commute hours). Chef Hector's cuban sandwich was flavorful and a good portion, as was the salad. Each item was loaded with flavor and so many ingredients. He also included spiced fries which we totally consumed! We decided to get dessert, and so glad we did. Chef Heather made an amazing pistachio lime meringue pie that would probably be world class! We hope to visit for dinner soon. There's an adjacent parking lot in back, which is really helpful!

Stopped in for lunch. Wasn't all that busy which was great. Seated quickly and waited on quickly. Had the Brezo burger with salad and a coke. The burger was good, the salad was disappointing. I would have liked a little more attention on my drink though but the waitress was very nice. Overall good lunch stop.

Brezo is one of the more historic buildings in POint Richmond, they have done well to preserve the "old" feel. Potato leek soup was nice and thick, perfect for an unusually cold CA day. Fish Sandwich was excellent, as were the Pulled Pork Tacos, but the highlight "to die for" part of the meal were the French Fries! Altho I did not have a draft beer, there were eight options, impressive for such a small place. Portions were perfect, price very reasonable.

After a number of friends recommended this place we decided to check it out. First the building itself has such amazing history. It was once a firehouse, city hall, a brothal, a bar, multiple restaurants etc..

This new food venue is awesome. Great lunch and dinner. We first tried it for lunch and was so impressed we went back for dinner 2 nights later.
