“Pleasant roadside cafe”
Reviewed November 22, 2012

On the long trip up the coast to Fort Bragg my husband and I needed to stop for a quick bite and were lured into Cafe Reyes by its tastefully rustic exterior and handy roadside location. When we stepped in we were lured even further by the yellow glow coming out of the brick wood burning pizza oven and a friendly man (owner?) throwing some dough discs in the air. We weren't disappointed when our Estero pizza was brought to the table (however a little more salt in either the dough or the cheese would have brought more harmony). My only regret was not being able to wash it down with a draft IPA. Very nice atmosphere, delicious thin crust pizzas with doughy crust, and nice wine/beer selection. Service staff was very friendly and helpful.

“Hidden in Plain Sight”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

Last time we went through Point Reyes Station, we had lunch at Station House Cafe -- it was good, but this time there was a line out the door. So we went around the corner. It looked pretty empty, but we went for it anyway. All those people in line at Station House Cafe? Bummer for them! TG and I split a salad and a pretty-much-perfect flat-bread pizza from the wood-fired oven. Point Reyes Station is big on organic food and even bigger on good cheese. The dining area has a big old-school coffee roaster that they fire up once a week and a wall of french doors opening to a wood deck. Reasonably priced, nice people, no wait, and yum.

“Pizza peel and gorgeous raw oysters”
Reviewed August 24, 2012

We keep returning to Cafe Reyes. It's always a great time. We go mostly for lunch, on sunny days and sit outside in the sun, at the wooden tables in their little garden area in the back. It's lovely there with the fountain and the roses. They have the best pizza dough. Light and crunchy outside, that they use for flat bread painted with olive oil and garlic, coming with anything your order that is not a pizza. Our favorites are fresh local greens and tomatoes in a salad and a platter of fresh raw oysters. They are fabulous ! Coming from a little oyster farm in the area, they always are extra fresh and delicious. The wine is good, the food is of extreme freshness and quality, lots of organic stuff, local. It's a great place to bring someone you want to surprise and delight...

This was our last dinner out and probably my favorite. Very nice owner and staff, Great eclectic music (not live). Lots of people (local and visitors) dining, even at 8pm on a Sunday. Love!

“Great pizza!”
Reviewed July 18, 2012

Both the soup and the pizza were amazing. Perfectly wood-fired pizza, fresh ingredients. A great find in a small town. Dog friendly patio.
