Description: Located in the picturesque West Marin town of Point Reyes Station, Osteria Stellina offers a delicious, intimate, farm-to-table dining experience. Known for our strictly local and seasonal cuisine, we strive to showcase the bounty of West Marin on every plate. Our ingredients are sourced from the surrounding regions many farmers, ranchers, and fisherman; each dish reads like a sophisticated blue plate special, comprised of what's close and plentiful on a given day. The result is a creative, clean, farm fresh menu we like to call "Point Reyes Italian". Osteria Stellina's daily lunch and dinner menus include house made pastas and bread, organic salads and soups, pizzas, sustainable meats and seafood, an array of satisfying desserts, and a carefully edited and affordable wine list featuring local vineyards and Italian favorites. Local beer is on tap and additional beers are available by the bottle. The restaurant's gracious dining room is ideal for diners of all ages and any occasion.

The braised goat was perfect, but the greens and the white beans are the supporting parts that make this place special.

“Disappointed!”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

I have been to this restaurant several times over the past few years and always had pleasant meal. However, things have changed, folks. The menu is more limited and less imaginative and the quality was barely acceptable. Example, ordered the padron pepper side. If you know anything these, they're great when small, but way too spicy to eat when larger than your little finger. I was served a plate of them, each the size of a large plum! One tiny bite was too hot for comfort. Obviously no one in the kitchen had tasted them or they had no taste buds! The rest of the meal wasn't as bad, but overall lacking. I'll never return.

“Class Coastal Stop”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

Two of us enjoyed a wonderful dinner. A delightful place with a classy atmoshpere and good service. Our server Louis was very attentive. Between the two of us we enjoyed Lamb Ragu, Spiced Beet salad, Vegetable Soup, and Garganelline. The spiced beetw were so tender and the seasoning superb. The lam ragu was out of this world with handmade noodles and a not too rich sauce with delicous seasoning. Sadle we had no room for desert.... the offerings were inviting... so we'll have to dine again and this classy coastal stop!

“Very good - great service!”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

We ate here following a long day of hiking and exploring. We were not disappointed!! My husband and I shared 4 courses and each one was perfection! There was a nice wine list and coffee was strong and delicious to wrap up a sweet finish to our meal. Very good and service was excellent, personal and attentive without being overbearing.

We had a lunch of butternut squash soup, arugula salad, and an extraordinary grilled cheese sandwich. Nice room and good service.
