We stayed for one night as we headed up the Pacific Coast Highway. We were not aware, and the management failed to warn us, that there was a huge festival at the wharf, complete with live bands. It was impossible to get to the hotel. When we finally got there the room was musty and we had to air it out before we could go in. The room was horribly outdated and some of the furniture was falling apart. They advertise a fireplace in each room - yeah, a fake fireplace with moving lights around a glorified space heater. For the money we paid, I expected more.
