Great place for breakfast and lunch. The food is yummy and there's good stuff on the menu to choose from.

“Did you forget about us?”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013 via mobile

Been here twice. Once was in September of 2012 and I loved everything about this place. Good food, warm cozy atmosphere and nice friendly staff. But our visit this time was just awful. We arrived after the lunch hour when things were quieting down. We were seated in the rear room by ourselves. This room was OK but I believe our server forgot we were there. It was a long long wait until we saw ;anyone and then it was a bus boy that finally showed up. Once he flagged down a server we asked to be moved out of the lonely back room to the front porch. There we enjoyed the ambience of the place. Food has always been good. Service could have been much better.

“Nice place to stop over on the way to Tahoe or back from Tahoe.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2013

Driving home from a golf weekend in Tahoe, wanted to stop somewhere to grab a bite to eat. Friend found this place via a search on Yelp.

Had the Bacon/Spinach Omlete with hashbrowns, friends had the french toast. My omlete was good. Pretty standard. However, as other reviewers have stated, the French Toast is wonderful. It's not on your standard/typical piece of sliced bread. It's like its' made on a roll. Very dense and heavy. Portions of the food are just right. Wouldn't say it's huge like some other cafes.

Service is a plus. Staff very friendly. Word of advice, it does get pretty crowded so expect a little wait. Nice thing is, they offer free coffee while you wait.

“Best place in Placerville for breakfast.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2013 via mobile

Went to breakfast here with my wife and grandparents. I truly believe this is the best place in Placerville for breakfast. The olaliberry pancakes are amazing. They have amazing bread, pies, muffins, coffee, and more. The service is great, though you usually have to wait about 45 minutes to get a seat on the weekends. Highly recommend this place, a must stop of you are in the area.

“Cozy, breakfast just like Grandma used to make!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2013

Great location right in the heart of Historic downtown Placerville on Main Street. You just have to try the french Toast! WOW!!! This is an old historic home converted into a quaint restaurant. Good service and good food, so be prepared to have to wait a little bit. Homemade baked goods, quiches, pies... Indoor and outdoor seating :)
