we ate breakfast here because of an event we were attending nearby, and because of the sign that read something like, "World Famous Eggs Benedict". Well not only was the eggs benedict underwhelming (watery, bland, hollandaise sause), the french toast was over-done, the service was slow, and the restaurant was dated.

Service was extremely slow and this was only for breakfast. Had their award winning chili omlette and for me, might as well have been out of the can. Also, a little too old and dirty for my taste.

We have been to Pismo a million times and have never eaten here. We only ate here on this trip because the other restuarants were full. WOW! How did we not know about this place before?? The food was excellent! We will definately be back next time we are in town!!

I wasn't impressed. Not that it was bad, it was just average. The clam chowder was good, and so were the coconut fried shrimp we'd ordered. The salmon tasted funny and we sent it back. The hostess was okay. She forgot to remove the salmon from our bill. We were there for D's birthday, Sept 14. I wish it had been awesome. Nothing more to say here.

We had heard Pismo beach was a nice place to stop so having made an early start from San Simeon on the road to Santa Monica, we stopped off there in the morning. Nothing much was open and there was a mentally interesting lady on the street, with one shoe having an argument with the wall, so we saw this place had its lights on and a board advertising breakfast so dived in.

We were seated by the pleasant waitress in a conservatory type extension which had a lovely sea view. The place itself seemed maybe a bit dated but it was clean and the staff friendly.

Breakfast was pretty good, lots to choose from. Portion sizes were generous and the cost was reasonable.

Had it not been for the one-shoed crazy lady, we might have passed this place by but I’m glad we stopped. Not sure what the menu would be like for lunch and dinner but it is a good little breakfast place all the same.
