“Loved the SeaVenture!!”

We would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are really cozy and well-appointed. We loved the king-sized feather bed and all the pillows (10!) The private hot tub on the balcony is great. And the morning breakfast basket IS as great as the other reviewers say. Free bike use is nice for exploring the area and the restaurant is great--try the tapas menu! All this adds up to feeling comfortable and pampered.

My new husband and I treated ourselves to the "honeymoon" package the day after our wedding at another hotel down the road. The Sea Venture was the best place and the best part of our 3 week honeymoon.

Upon opening the room door I was nearly brought to tears by the decor, the fire place, scattered rose petals, and chocolate covered strawberries. After the rushed weeks leading to the wedding... we need some time to just relax. I booked myself in at the spa for an hour massage... which they do as late as 9pm. The massage therapist was great... giving me the tips on all the local restuarants and places to see.

We had a great view of the beach... but you "do" pay for that. Its usually $70 more than their average room rate. But each night we recieved a complimentary bottle of champagne. The spa was just right for two. The beds are the comfiest I have ever slept on. The breakfast basket could use a little improving. Not alot of variety. They provide postcards and free postage. An honor bar which is rare to find these days. Plush terry robes in the closets. Our room also had 2 balconies and a small childs room with two twin beds that was tucked away behind what looked like a slatted closet door. To cute!!

The staff was great. IWe wanted to stay more than 1 night and were able to book in for an extra night... but then sadly they were sold out and we had to move on. I have made all my friends jealous and we are now all planning a girls trip there!

We had an excellent stay at the Seaventure! The staff was friendly and the room was beautiful. We had an ocean view room with a hot tub and fireplace. (The hotel is right on the beach). We even saw whales from our balcony while enjoying a delicious continental breakfast which was brought to our room in a basket and included in the price of the room. The hot tub was very private and clean. The room was also very clean and cozy with lots of pillows and blankets - shapes, sizes, softness, etc. to suit any need! Room service was very good. We called a few times for amenities and the items were brought up within minutes.

We ate at the restaurant on the 3rd floor. The food was very good, but a little pricey. (We had steak and lobster, a caesar salad, and drinks for around $100. The next night we ate at F. McClintock's and noticed we could have had the same meal for around $35, plus drinks.) We did find it a little odd that the restaurant closed at 9:00 on a Friday night.

One really nice thing is that the parking is under the hotel, keeping you out of any bad weather. We would definitely stay again!

The Seaventure Inn is simply wonderful. From the moment you arrive the staff can't do enough to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We had a partial seaview room with a private hot tub (they all have that). The decor was lovely and the whole feel of the place was luxurious. Supper was delicious and breakfast was served in a basket in our room. There were complimentary Surrey bicycles to ride on the seafront. I only wish we could have stayed another 2 days!

Nothing actually wrong with this hotel although it is more motel than hotel. Location is fantastic, right on Pismo Beach and the hotel thoughtfully provide beach chairs as well as towels. Restaurant was great too although service was a bit slow (but it was busy). The rooms however were a bit dark and small and the balcony with jacuzzi was a waste of their time and money. The balcony size/shape meant that you coudl see nothing but four walls from the jacuzzi! Breakfast was just a basket of muffins and juice bought to your room which I couldn't understand why when they had a full blown kitchen upstairs for the restaurant.

The Sea Venture was not as great as I had expected, many people built it up to be more than I thought. I was glad that we were only staying there 1 night on our way up the coast. Our room did not face the ocean, we were in the back of the hotel and had to crane our necks around the partition to actually see a small sliver of the ocean. We left around 7:00 the next morning and were rather disappointed that we had to leave before we got our "breakfast basket" that everyone said was so great. I would have to say that the products were the best part of the hotel, the jasmine lotion and the hand-made soap were really nice and you can buy more soap in the lobby. I probably would not stay there again but all in all, it was a clean room with a friendly staff.

I was on business travel. A bit pricey but nice. I think you should request an oceanview room, or else they will put you in the back. However, I had a spa/jacuzzi on my patio. Overall, good service, great location. No major complaints. The restaurant was darling, good jazz, good crowd. Saw whales from the restaurant for over an hour. The beach front walk is great!
