My friend and I stayed here and had a wonderful visit. First off the beds are amazing with a down mattress and covers..soooooooo comphy! The view is to die for on the beach and one can walk down the boardwalk to the pier in 10 minutes.I love the rooms here.Fireplaces, jacuzzi on the deck and a view that will make you smile...alot!
The breakfast offered for $5.00 is adequate. We ordered the cheese fritatta and fruit cup. This was a bargain and not too much food.If you want a big breakfast go to Penny's cafe.
The staff is very helpful and nice. I remember Heidi the best.
My friend and I will be staying here on a regular basis on our road trips to wiine country.

Room Tip: Ask for Ocean front on the 2nd floor..

We loved everything about our 5 night stay in October 2012. As soon as we entered the lobby the stress of driving for 11 hours just melted away. The entire staff was so welcoming, courteous, and helpful: the Shift Manager Heidi who was kind enough to accomodate us when we had to change our reservation dates at the last minute and made sure we not only had a beautiful ocean view room but also fresh chocolate-dipped strawberries every day, the very friendly front desk agent Amy who checked us in, the front desk agent Brittany who was kind enough to supply me with sun screen when I realized I had forgotten mine, and the entire housekeeping staff who were prompt and efficient. Upon entering our room we were greeted by delightful ocean cottage furnishings, an amazing ocean view, and a large private patio with a whirlpool which we used every day. Between the extremely comfortable bed and the wonderful ocean breeze (slept with the patio doors open) we slept like babies! Also, having our hotel located right on the beach and within steps of the boardwalk which gives easy walking access to all that Pismo Beach has to offer was definitely a huge plus for us. We will definitely be returning to SeaVenture again and again!

Nicely situated on the beach, but it has a cluttered, messy lobby, signs posted everywhere, and odd dark green rooms. Breakfast, served to the room in a basket, is watery coffee, supermarket muffins and canned juice. Our room looked out on a parking lot and the tiny bathroom emitted gurgling sounds that never stopped. This place tries, but the overall effect is 1970's.

We stayed here for 3 nights in August 2012 and absolutely loved everything about this hotel. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and made to feel welcome. Our room was lovely and the whirlpool on the balcony was an added bonus. We had breakfast brought to our room every morning in a basket (which was different and fun!) and after eating in the restaurant on the first night we had such a great experience (fantastic food and service) that we went back the following night as well. We sat at the bar rather than have a table and the lady running the bar and the chef were delightful (we would recommend the sliders - delicious!) We would definitely return to this hotel if we were ever in the area again. Very competitive prices - really good value for money.

We have a Worldmark membership which is right behind this hotel. I guess Worldmark contracts with this hotel for some services and they treated us exactly as if we were their honored guests. Staff is very friendly and accomodating, location is excellent. I got a full-body, deep-tissue massage in their Spa from Larry Welch and I have to say it was truly outstanding. He's a really sweet guy with great technique. Worth every penny which I can not usually say about hotel spas. We enjoyed cocktails and snacks on their rooftop patio with beautiful view and dinner with a side of sunset in their restaurant was great as well!

My wife and I have been visiting the SeaVenture Resort since 1986. The consistency of the high level of service, the overall comfort, the willingness of the staff to help, the fantastic location, the clean rooms, the great spas on the deck of the room, the 3rd floor restaurant fronting a beautiful 180 degree view of the beach and ocean, the restaurant's great menu selection of which the steak and lobster dinner for two is especially reasonable and very good, and the perfectly shaken
dry martinis. It is THE perfect place to visit.

Room Tip: South side facing and ocean front rooms are our favorites all with a deck spa.

How could you go wrong? Far enough away from downtown to be quiet. Close enough to walk, but you could also borrow (not rent) a bike. Walk out the doors and cross the walkway to be on the beach. Get a beach view room and sit in your own hot tub, on your balcony, listening to the waves (with wine at night, and/or coffee in the morning). We will be back!
