“An amazing dining experience.”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

We ate here because I saw the restaurant as we drove into Pismo Beach. We shared a bucket of seafood -crab mussells, shrimp. The restaurant only serves what is available fresh that day.The bucket of crustaceans is dumped in the middle of the table soalong with implements to crack the shells & eat the seafood. A unique way to eat. I loved it.

Food was ok. Not much seafood in the seafood gumbo. Abalone portion very small. Clam chowder was average.

“Seems like the place to eat in Pismo Beach”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

Food was good but a little on the "diner" side. I like a little more ambiance but for a beach town, it was a nice place to eat.

“There are better options.”

Prices are medium to high but atmosphere is like a long John silver. Cheesy, bib wearing place that might be fun for kids.

“Go for the buckets!”
Reviewed October 5, 2012 via mobile

The crab bucket was big enough for my BF and two boys to share. The halibut was delicious and I couldn't get enough of their home made dinner rolls. The house salad was so tasty with the seafood topping and homemade vinaigrette. It's a short walk up from the beach. Always clean and the staff is very welcoming :)
