We have been camping at this facility for years, and have always found it to be a place we enjoyed. Staff were helpful and friendly. The summer months were crowded, but any other time of year there was plenty of room. The positive thing about staying here is the location. Walking distance to everything. The beach is close by, many wonderful restaurants, we will always have this facility on our places to go! Love it!

The RV resort is very nice. The sites have plenty of room ( at least the site we had) I did see some sites which were kind of small.
My complaint with the resort is that we requested to be near our friends. We both called together and requested to be next to each other. When we get there they will only give us our site and won't asign our friends until they get there. They are only a 1/2 hour out at this point. There were 2 empty sites right next to us. I go up to the office and request if they could asign one of those sites for our friends. I was told that those site were allready asigned to other campers whom requested to be together. Our friends could not have been put further away from us. And those sites that were already saved for someone else sat empty. Then we called to complain about it and was told it was saved as an emergency site. Then someone did come into one of the sites and told us they did not fit into the site they were given and then was redirected to that site. and one of the sites still sat empty all weekend. When you go with friends it would be nice if you could camp together. We were told 3 different answers as to why they could not give us that site. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We stayed at PCV several years ago and wasn't treated very well. On our last stay we were given a very small and short space that only got our 5th wheel trailer off the road by about 2 feet. We asked for another space but was told by yhe very rude person at the gate that the park was full and there were no other spaces available. We saw several spaces that stayed empty the whole time we were a PCV so we figured that the woman at the reservation office just couldn't be bothered changing our space assignment.
This trip we decided to give PCV another chance. This is the last time for us. The check in process was easy but again we were assigned a 36 foot space for our 37 foot trailer. I went to the reservation office and was told that there was nothing they could do. We stayed the one night and I canceled the remaining days. We stayed at another RV park and salvaged the week.
We ate at the on site restaurant and wasn't impressed with the food. The ribs were overcooked and seemed more like jerky than pork ribs. The beans were good.
PCV has a gate leading out to the beach but the walk is long to the beach. There is another gate but there was a large storm about 15 years ago tha twiped out the beach area by the gate and PCV has never bothered to repair the damage to the beach so their customers have to walk around. Walk out to the street and go to town past the 7/11. It's a lot easier than the beach.

The wife and I jumped in the RV and headed away from the heat wave at our home in Hanford, CA. We were able to get reservations at the Pismo Coast Village for a couple of night. The Resort is large very easy to check in and has great security. Some of the spaces are very small, so your only a few feet from your neighbor which means it is noisy plus we were assigned space 123 which was right along the highway which was more noisy. The resort has pool, arcade, restaurant, general store, laundry mat, bicycle rental, propane service, maintenance service, lot's of recreational activities. Located next to the beach sounds good, but the gate out the back has a large creek running along the property so it is a long walk to get to the beach. It is better to go out the front and walk along the street it is a lot easier.

We ate at the restaurant on site had the sampler bbq plate. The chicken was good, baby back ribs were so dried out was unable to eat, beef ribs were fair, French fries we half cooked and bean were ok. I would not go back.

The resort is located within 10 minutes to the pier and restaurant.

Overall it is a good RV.

A clean and efficiently managed site in a beautiful spot right on the beach
Level, spacious and clean pitches
Beautifully maintained grounds and surroundings
Lovely modern and clean washrooms
Site is within a very short and easy walking distance of the town where there are some great restaurants, bars and cafe's
Nicest RV site we have visited so far and the prices are fair
