“Great RV Resort”
Reviewed April 24, 2012

I stayed here for one night with my parents who stayed the whole week in their RV at this location. Friendly security, great activities and awesome neighbors. They have three playgrounds which was nice. Bathrooms where very well maintained per my husband. The beach is very close but you have to walk around to get passed a marsh of some sort and it's a short hike to go around. Area was nice and would def. stay here again.

“No rhyme or reason on site assignment”
Reviewed January 27, 2012

We have "camped" here 1-2 times a year here for the past 9 years. Location is excellent, as it is literally just a quick walk from your site through a chain-link fence to the beach. The pool is slightly heated, but there is not a jacuzzi. There is a small arcade and during the summer, there are usually weekend activities (for a nomimal fee) at the center square along with BBQ for sale. Restrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. There are several playgrounds throughout the campground. The frustrating thing about staying at this RV resort is the baffling way sites are assigned. You may request a site, but no guarantee and you will not be told which site you are in until check in. Sites to the North side of check-in building are nicer and much roomier. South side sites are more compact with some sites nearly on top of each other and backing up along a chainlink fence that adjoins to the State Park campground. We have camped here with friends who own shares in this property and have sometimes gotten a site much better than theirs (we are not shareholders). It's a decent place for a beach getaway, but request a site on the North side and avoid going in July/early August, as the place is jam-packed with Valley folks getting away from the heat. And be aware that far South sites will barely fit a 30-foot trailer and expect to park along the street. Lots of kids in the summer!

“Pismo Coast Village RV Resort”

Camped here five days. Pretty pricey but the sites are an adequate size with a firepit and hook-ups. The weather is great and there are plenty of "small" towns connecting Pismo Beach to shop or window shop. The beach access from the park is good. There is a store, laundrymat and facilities on site but the restaurant is currently closed. There are plenty of nice restaurants within walking and car distance. There is a casino near by as well as a card room for gaming pleasure. Well maintained and secure campground......
