“Ok food, don't bring the kids”
Reviewed August 13, 2012 via mobile

Over all I was underwhelmed by my experience at this restaurant, food was decent however policies with regard to children's meals were less than desirable. We were told we had to spend a minimum of $7 per child or pay a $7 splitting fee per child. This included our 3 yr old who mostly sticks to the bread sticks. After questioning this policy our experience went from adequate to awful as we were promptly ignored by all servers and the owner made a show of visiting every table.except ours of course. Won't be back, with kids or without.

“Mediocre Italian”
Reviewed August 10, 2012

I've lived in the area for 17 years, have dined at Giannini's from time to time, and each time I'm disappointed in the food and service. The food is rather bland and ordinary, and after touring through Italy, I found it has slight resemblance to true Italian food. They have such a great location and could easily improve the quality and flavors of the food.

“Terrific”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

We live just a few minutes from Giannini's. We enjoy going there with our family members. They serve a traditional, sit down Italian-style dinner with several courses. All of the pasta dishes are very good. Our favorites are the lasagna and the ravioli. They are known for their polenta. Antipasta, soup and salad courses are are very good.

“Just OK Italian food”
Reviewed July 3, 2012

Our "home town" retaurant is just ok. It's only open Thursday thru Sunday. Atmosphere is nice and service is good. Food is ok, but have had better Italian. I will probably go back sometime, but not with a lot of excitement.
