“It has changed a bit...”

This use to be one of our favorite wineries. The owners lived on the property and were always the ones to greet you and pour their wines. The wines are good, but the overall experience (if you could spot the road into the winery) was the BEST. Be aware that I heard the property was bought out by Ferrari-Carano (which is a fantastic winery and we are members of their wine clud) so that 'small' feel and direct interaction with owner/winemaker has been lost....too bad, no so many really good ones left.

“Love this place!!”
Reviewed February 7, 2007

Lazy Creek is kind of hard to spot from the road, but the first time I went was on a friend's recommendation. You have to drive along a dirt road along a creek until you get to a charming farm/vineyard. Very picturesque place, complete with a dog or cat coming to greet you. It may feel like you're intruding upon someone's private residence but don't worry- someone is usually in the tasting room ready to invite you in. I consistently like all their wines, they are very good. I don't live near the area anymore so I try to make a point of visiting the Anderson Valley when I can and definitely include stopping at Lazy Creek. Also, free shipping if you join their wine club!

“Reluctant to share!!!”
Reviewed January 31, 2007

Lazy Creek Vineyards was a beautiful adventure. Josh welcomed us into his tasting room and spent the kind of time and care with us he spends with his wine. Beautiful wines, all from the Anderson Valley. The drive down the driveway thru the redwood forest is worth the visit alone.

Its a beautiful place and exactly why you go to vineyards -- to meet people who are truly inspired by what they do. Wish us luck in waiting three years to open some of these bottles!

“Wonderful winery and great wine!”

This is a great little winery that produced fabulous wines -- I would recommend it to everyone. Don't forget to join their wine club and help support the "little" guys of the wine industry.
