This hotel is typical of Best Westerns. The rooms are a good size, clean, contain refrigerators, coffee makers and the furniture you need for a brief stay. A room in this area for under $100 per night is a good price. One small thing i appreciated - the power strip on the desk, which allows guests to plug in several electronic items. It's one of my hotel pet peeves that often I have to crawl around on the floor to find outlets or else plug them in near the sink where they can get splashed with water. Don't know why all hotels don't offer this; everyone travels with electronic gear that require recharging!
This hotel has two buildings. The first one is where the office is located and the second one is perpendicular to the main building. I was placed at the end of the second building, farthest from the office building, and the noise was awful. It sits practically on top of the main road and it was impossible to get a good night's sleep with constant traffic. I mentioned this to Best Western when they sent me an email inquiring about my stay. To his credit, the manager contacted me and explained that they are working with CalTrans to get a sound wall built. That would be nice, but in the meantime they need to replace the windows with quality double-pane windows, better sound-proofing in the walls, etc.
I would stay here again only if i could be guaranteed a room in the main building or the first half of the second building.
