The owner answered questions when the pourer could not. The variety of ports was good but definitely small batch. Friendly and knowledgeable with decent prices.

This place was in walking distance of our hotel. You got to taste 6 different ports and 2 vinegars for free. The lady behind the bar was really nice and the place had a fun atmosphere.

We enjoyed their January event, "Holiday Blues", which included 4 tiny samples of blue cheeses with our first 2 port tastings. Then we progressed through 5 more tastings, including their reserve port, a wood-aged muscat, a cream sherry and a Gewurztraminer "Almost Vinegar". The gentleman serving us was friendly and knowledgeable. We found the ports here are 'lighter' than those from Portugal or England. Unlike other tasting rooms, this one does not have a set fee, but accepts donations that go to a local charity.

I have purchased a number of bottles of their chocolate/port. It is so delicious-sort of like drinking your dessert. I liked it so much that when our dance group went to Russia, we took several bottles as gifts for dignitaries.

Not only are their ports (and grappa) delicious, but the owners are fun and interesting and served delicious treats to pair with the drinks. The vinegar is amazing and the grappa!
