“Bring a lot of golf balls”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

Course is beautiful but hard if you aren't consistent. There is no rough. You go from fairway straight to tall, thick, nasty heather. Several times I thought I was safely to the right side of the green only to find out my ball rolled off the green into the nasty stuff and lost my ball. Weather was perfect. No rain or wind high of 68.

“Underrated”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2013

I think Spanish Bay is underrated. Sure, its big brothers are better courses, but it is a great course that deserves more credit. I suspect golf purists don't like the holes weaving through condos, but the holes by the water offset those. I'd play Spanish Bay every day and be VERY happy...

“Challenging course, but fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

Tough course, suggest getting a caddie, walk the course. Beautiful coastal views from every fairway. Cost is less than Pebble Beach, but a must on your bucket lust. Bring plenty of extra golfballs you can donate to the landscape.

“A good option instead of Pebble Beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

The links is one of the lesser expensive courses at Pebble Beach. Not as challenging or cared for at Pebble Beach, but still a good course.

“Par Excellence”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2013

My husband and I were here to play Pebble Beach and played the Links at Spanish Bay as a warm-up. Beautiful course (not easy) with lovely views. There are deer on the course who are obviously used to the golfers as they just stand and stare as you pass by. Staff were friendly and most helpful. Would recommend if you are here to play Pebble Beach that you add this on to your list as well,
