Used to go to Vics weekly. But since his daughter took over the prices went up and the portion size went down. There are a lot of better places in town with better quality for the price. Went with a friend and she wanted to go there. So sorry I did. I order the Chinese chicken salad. Which I always loved ! Wow did it get small. And price went up. I was very disappointed. Will not go back ! Love the gals that work in the daytime !

We travel between So Cal and Nor Cal fairly often and look for new places to eat each time. This trip we picked Vic's Cafe and boy are we happy we did! The food was excellent and the service was quick and very friendly. There were lots of locals eating there as well, which is always a good sign. We had eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancakes - all of them were perfectly cooked and excellent. (It's nice to find a place that still makes real hash browns). Coffee is very good as well. A great place - we'll be back on our next trip.

Been around for 40 + years, can't go wrong here. Nothing fancy, a local hangout.

They do a great job with the Liver with onions and bacon, although you have to get a side of bacon as it doesn't come automatically with the dinner. It's REALLY hard to find a restaurant that serves it.

This is a family owned, down home, simple food restaurant. It's all basic food and they do a good job with it. Great, old fashioned, home cooking. Don't expect anything gourmet. It's like going to your aunt and uncles for dinner. They also have a lot of choices of fresh, home made pies.

This is not an imitation of an old fashioned diner but is the real thing. Good solid menu or all the usual good diner food. Fancier places to eat but this is the real deal.
