“Great Service, Good Food, bad locale”
Reviewed June 6, 2012

I agree with other reviewers about the great service, food, and nice rooms. However the location left a lot to be desired. This hotel would have been five stars for me if it was located in a vineyard or anywhere else besides next to the freeway. Our room had a view of the neighboring motel and the freeway (not cute). There isn't too much choice in Paso Robles for nice hotels, so if you stay here just be warned about the locale and deceving web site photos.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that does not face the freeway, nor the crack motel, nor the Days Inn.

My husband and I stayed at the La Bellasera Hotel and Suites for one night in May 2012. This hotel was just lovely and the service we received was fantastic! Upon check-in, the front desk staff was very accomodating and friendly. When we got to our room we were very impressed with the amentities and size of room. Our room had a large jacuzzi tub which we didn't get a chance to use because we were so busy at the Firestone Walker Brewery (which is only a 2 minute drive from the hotel). Wish we had! If you choose this hotel you won't be dissapointed!

We recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and wanted to stay at a classy hotel in Paso Robles, CA. After reading the prevous reviews of
LaBellasera, we booked our stay. Very happy with the spacious room and comfy bed. linens were the best ever. Beautiful hotel with every possible
amenity one could want. A bottle of champagne was put in our room when we were out for the evening...even had a bucket of ice............hotel takes pride in everything they do and it shows. we highly recommend it and will always stay there when we visit Paso.

Room Tip: this hotel compares to any classy hotel we have ever stayed at in california and nevada.........no n...

My boyfriend and I booked a room for my birthday and we were not disappointed. We booked a package that included a bottle of champagne and a food voucher for the restaurant on the premises. The front desk staff was unaware of the package purchased but were unruffled when we mentioned it. We arrived early and were given good recommendations for lunch venues in town ( a mere 5 minutes from the hotel) while we waited for our room. When we returned after lunch our room was ready replete with the chilled champagne and voucher. We had dinner at Enoteca at the hotel and while a little on the pricey side the food and service were outstanding. The turndown service including the radio tuned to nice background music and chocolate left on the pillow was a nice touch. The room was clean, spacious and quiet and the staff helpful and friendly. All in all a great stay and we'll definitely be back!

Very large room, bigger than the first 3 apartments we lived in when we got married.

Location is very good if you want to go over to see the Hearst "Castle" at San Simeon the next day. Otherwise next to a freeway, but good sound proofing so you don't hear it.

Resturant a little overpriced, but food was good. No inexpensive meals.

Facility, clean and well kept, staff helpful and competent.

We just spent 2 nights in an exec room. Our only complaint was the sleep sofa was very uncomfortable. The hotel inself can be romantic but the views of the 101 and OSH take away. Staff was great. Ate dinner in town and loved both places, especially Artisan. Had 1 breakfast in hotel and was OK buy very expensive. Went to Hoover's in Templeton next morning and it was super.

It definitely deserved it's 4 stars which was more than the Tenaya at Yosemite.
Enjoy the wineries, we liked Opolo and Halter Ranch. Justin was pretty snobby.

Room Tip: Near elevator which is near the ice

My husband and I stayed here in April. We had a wedding to attend in Paso Robles and selected this hotel based on the reviews and location. We stayed in a "deluxe king suite with fireplace" and were very happy with the room. When we arrived they had some nice jazz music playing on the Ipod dock. It was a nice touch.

The fireplace is the real treat. It starts with the flick of a switch and really makes the room feel cozy. The sitting area is roomy enough to eat in. We ordered room service breakfast the next morning. They delivered it quickly and even brought us the morning paper. I didn't care for the pancakes as they seemed overly sweet (and I do not use syrup). The Applewood bacon however, was wonderful.

The bathroom is large and modern. I liked the variety of lighting options within the bathroom and the large thick towels. The hotel provides toiletries that have a very appealing Valencia orange aroma to them. They even provide earplugs, which I love! You don't necessarily need them, as the room was very quiet. I did not hear a peep our entire three night stay. In addition, the bed was comfortable and we slept well.

All in all I would highly recommend this hotel.
