“A Tasting Room Adventure”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

With 14-16 beers on tap, some with double digit alcohol content, it would be wise to have a DD (thank you Pirette!); especially if you intend to taste them all (which I did).

The tasting room itself is across the street from the brewery and is somewhat spartan, yet cozy. But we are not here for the atmosphere. We are here for the beer.

We started with the 805 Blonde, which is a simple brew made to hook the BudMillerCoors fans. Beyond a sip (just to say I had it),the Hefe is another meh wheatie in the Blue Moon, Shock Top, 312 realm (OK, I admit it, I put Hefe's and Merlot's in the same category - yuck!)

Once we got past the Pils, the fun began.

Union Jack, Wookey Jack, Double Jack, Walkers Reserve , OMG the taste buds were busting with Hops, Hops and more Hops. Toss in a Velvet Merlin, the Velvet Merkin (on Nitro) a Sucaba and now we're talking creamy chocolate notes and decadence (from beer????) Yes, from beer.

The staff was great, they were super knowledgeable and friendly (and patient). A tasteful afternoon.

Lots of great artisanal beers on tap. Helpful waitstaff. Food was good for a brew pub. Joint was jumpin' on Friday night.

“$2 tasters and great food”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

They just started serving food and it was wonderful. We'd tried going for lunch last time we were up there and got turned away because they'd ran out of food. I believe they had *just* started serving food so weren't quite in the groove yet.
Lots of beer tasters on tap for cheap if you just want to try a sample or two and then buy to take home. We had our little baby with us and didn't feel out of place - other kids were in the restaurant as well.

“Valentines Dinner”
Reviewed February 17, 2013 via mobile

Made reservations for V day and got in right away and had a very knowledgable server who knew what she was talking about. Had the special of the nite which was Ono and it was wonderful and the crab cakes were delicious. My other half had the steak and loved it. Very happy with our service and server. Would recommend again

“disappoitment”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

I ordered a hamburger. It was tasteless, dry, and $10.00. Will never go back. I wrote a note on the back of the bill for the manager. Maybe if you drink enough the food would be better.
