The dinner menu had no vegan options but I had to come back here for drinks. Great atmosphere, fun patio bar and good selection of wines. Oh...order fries from the bar food menu. TO. DIE. FOR.

The menu accommodated a wide range of tastes among the five of us, and each dish was prepared to our liking. Service was gracious and efficient. And of course, the Villa Creek wines are among my favorites.

We like to bar hop eating some half meals at several of the local restaurant. This place was perfect for that . There is outdoor eating at high top tables where we could enjoy a nice glass of local wine and a filling appetizer. the hatch chili stew was unique and delicious.

We were passing through Paso Robles and only had time to try one restaurant for dinner. Checked put several before deciding on Villa Creek, which sits right on the city park. As soon as you walk in you get a comforting sensation of a classy but casual place. The hostess and waitress were great helping us through glutinous free choices. Food was prepared exactly as we had requested.

As we stopped in Paso Robles on our return journey North, my daughter and I were caught in an extreme heat wave that reached 113 degrees. We gave up pursuing wineries in the area, the heat took away our whole desire to go anywhere tasting 'red' wines.

We still needed a good dinner, though, and pacing around the main square, we peaked into Villa Creek and liked the atmosphere, the decor, and the friendly welcome we received. The menu was captivating and original (with Peruvian influence). We ordered: guacamole, a salad of just greens that was simply superb, and a savory sea bass cooked to perfection, we shared all dishes, and drank an excellent chilled white.

We were so enthusiastic that we returned the following night and this time ordered: tasty boquerones, the same fantastic salad of mixed greens, and an impeccable ahi tuna ceviche and drank another bottle of chilled white from their own vineyard.

The service was invariably professional and amicable. Discovering this restaurant was the highlight of our stay in Paso Robles.
