Despite my average review I dine at Goshi's frequently (they are the only Japanese game in town) The food is good, offering fresh and inventive dishes. The atmosphere is a clean contemporary space which is quite nice. The problem is the service. If you sit at the sushi bar you may risk being ignored while the chefs work on take out orders, which always seem to take priority over the seated customers. The service isn't any better at the tables where the waitstaff seems to be clueless about the daily offerings and regular menu items. Final warning - the wait for a table can sometimes be very long, go early! What this restaurant needs (in addition to improved service) is competition.
