From the initial phone booking with Jennifer to the moment we checked out our stay was outstanding. We were a party of 2 couples traveling for a girlfriend's birthday getaway weekend. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms comfortable, quiet and well equipped and our friends' dogs were welcomed (at NO EXTRA CHARGE!) The free bottled water and slippers provided in the guest rooms are an added bonus that is found in very few establishments and the complimentary breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of items. We had dinner in the "Indulge" restaurant and the food and portion sizes were good. Above all the service is what makes this hotel stand out. We had great service in the dining room and Jennifer and Jovan at reception were the best. They gave us invaluable information for our wine-tasting excursion and they sent us away at check-out with more great ideas to complete our celebration before heading back to the bay area. A++ to the staff. We'll be back!

We had the pleasure to stay at The Oaks in Paso Robles for a four-night long weekend this summer. We selected this new hotel as a base for wine tasting and for day trips to the Central Coast towns of Cambria, Cayucos and Morrow Bay. It worked out well and it is definitely better than any "suites hotel" I have ever stayed. The attention to detail was impeccable. They offer a free buffet English breakfast. Linens are superb. Rooms are modern and well appointed. What is even more amazing is that this seems to be an independantly developed, owned and operated property. This is quite an accomplishment given the unfriendly and nit-picking building and business unfriendly atomospere of California. They have successfully navigated through all this to create a wonderful place to stay no matter if you are visiting in the Paso Robles area or just staying over night as you travel between Southern and Northern California.

Everything was clean, comfortable, quiet, and ran very smooth. Great location, close to town. Jennifer made finding wine tasting rooms easy, lots of tips about where to go. Rooms and very comfy bedding made for two very restful nights between days of wine tasting and sight seeing. Dinner in the on-site restaurant one evening was very tasty, perfectly done filet and asparagus. Our friends all enjoyed their meals. Breakfast buffet in the morning was substantial and all fresh. I asked for a special order of eggs one morning, and the chef was pleased to accommodate me. Mary and staff are great. Thank you, we'll be back!

We planned a 3 week holiday in advance and looking at motels on Google a number came up in Paso Robles. This was a little more expensive and we took a chance and booked a few months ahead of time. We drove from San Jose to Paso in the one day, a comfortable drive. Paso Robles is a reasonably small place and the Oaks is almost new. We had no problem finding it and parking and check in were uneventful. We had a nice twin queen bed room on an upper floor. Motel is clean and quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful. Unlike all motels we stayed in this had free wi-fi so that is a significant bonus, well done The Oaks. The only negative, if you can call it one, was on check-out we asked about the note on the back of the bathroom door. It said the two bath robes were complimentary to use but $85 each if you wanted to take them. We asked at reception as our room did not have any robes. This was fortunate as we may have been billed $170 to my credit card had I not asked. Motels need to be sure that inclusions are actually there as mistakes can cost genuine honest patrons dollars. Nonetheless, the Oaks is a nice hotel and I would recommend it.

Room Tip: No special notes, all rooms seem good.

We liked this hotel A LOT. The rooms were very modern and hotels customer service was very good overall. The pool and fitness center are great.
The location was just o.k.. Overall i had a great stay and I think anyone else will like it too. I highly recommend this hotel to people travelling with children.
Also, the food in its in-house restaurant Indulge was very good. The service was great and it was very clean as well.Breakfast is NOT TO BE MISSED.
We will definitely stay next time as well and will recommend it without hesitation.

Room Tip: 306 and 308 are good rooms.

The staff took care of us like we were part of the family. The daily free breakfast had a great variety of foods. The hotel is only 8 months old and feels so clean. I can't say enough about the staff, maids, and cooks, most friendly hotel I have every stayed at. We will always stay at this hotel when we go to Paso Robles

I found this place on trip advisor and so glad I did! This is a new hotel a little out of the center of town. But a very nice and clean hotel. Jennifer Johnson met us at check in and we hit it off immediately. We explained that it was our 1st time here and that we wanted to go wine tasting. She immediately took out a map and mapped out a plan for our day. She showed us 10 local, small winery's. boy this was the best. Everyone at the winerys were very nice and accomadating.
The hotel itself is very nice. Rooms are spacious and clean. They are well thought out. We travel a lot and are constantly searching for a electrical outlet to plug in our chargers and a C Pap machine that I wear. Well there are electrical outlets at both nite stands! To some that may not be a big deal but it was sure great to us! You are also given slippers and robes.
In the morning we were given a free complimentary full breakfast. Not a continental one.
Our stay here was awesome, on the way out we saw Jennifer again, she was veery interested in our wine tasting and the rest if our nite. She hugged us good bye and said she looks forward to us returning. She made us feel special which is always a plus!!!
