Owner description: Estrella Warbirds Museum is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of military aircraft, vehicles and memorabilia of those who flew and worked in the military aviation field. Our approach, however, is not to glorify conflict but rather to make a future generation aware of the fact our way of life does not come without sacrifice. Founded over 25 years ago by two men with two airplanes and a strong desire to see an aviation museum in Paso Robles, California, little did they realize how far and how rapidly their initial dream would carry them. Today, located on over 13 acres of land, situated on the Paso Robles Municipal Airport grounds, the Estrella Warbirds Museum is one of the fastest growing non-profit museum on the west coast. The museum has become an intregral part of the Paso Robles community attracting visitors from around the world.

Fantastic staff that guides you through a hidden gem in Paso Robles. Forget the wine when in Paso, search out this museum for an afternoon of amazement viewing military history, aviation history, and vehicle history. Don't miss seeing the auto museum on the tour - incredible exhibit. You can even sit in the old planes and get a true "pilots view" from the cockpit; they eve have a Saturn Rocket engine you can see and touch.

Very well organized selection of memorabilia with different wars.
Well thought out glass cases of mementos, authentic uniforms,
weapons, letters, photos, etc. Outside good display of older airplanes. We ran out of time, but plan return soon to see auto display.

I am impressed with the incredible collection of military history that has been assembled. a small museum that has a lot to offer. Very interesting displays of planes, military vehicles and a great car collection from Dick Woodland from collectibles to race cars. The breadth of the collection is astounding and for a small place in the country. If you have interest in military historical items, this place is for you.

This museum is small when compared to other air museums, like the San Diego Air & Space Museum and their incomparable collection, but it is quite nice. Very interesting displays Well worth the short drive to see both historic aircraft and automobiles.

If you like old planes you will like this museum. Community support and volunteers work hard to keep this place alive. History in front of your eyes!
