Owner description: What Better Way to Discover Paso Robles' Warm Hospitality, Farm-Fresh Food and Award-Winning Wines than by a Guided Walking Tour? A Central Coast Food Tour in Paso Robles will introduce you to this new culinary frontier where food, wine and history come together to create a most delicious experience. Did you know a Paso Robles wine won Wine Spectator's "Wine of the Year" in 2010, and the area was recently named the West Coast's "most exciting wine region" by Sunset Magazine? On your tour you'll enjoy a mix of food and wine tastings at six specially selected food and wine venues that best represent the array of agricultural, culinary and viticultural resources in the area. We'll help you get oriented to all that Paso (as we locals refer to the area) has to offer.

The reviews are right on! Laura is warm, charming and knowledgable......you do feel like you have made a new friend when the day is over. Every stop was met with a warm welcome from the host. There is a wonderful variety of delicious food and wine (come hungry!) along with a history of the area and the current trends. You really get your money's worth and more!

I am so glad you discovered our food tour, because I got the treasure of discovering you! You and your husband are an absolute inspiration for me. I loved hearing about your life and how you two remain so youthful through the lifestyle you lead. You've definitely given me food for thought for my own life. Thank-you so much for sharing the day, and yourselves with me.... and best of luck in finding your new home....
Best,
Laura

What a fun experience! Laura, in addition to being very warm and welcoming, is also extremely knowledgeable about local history. Being a local myself I underestimated how much I would really learn and I was more than pleasantly surprised (as a bonus I finally got to try food at all the restaurants I've been hearing about but haven't had a chance to go to yet). The food is absolutely wonderful and the wine and beer were excellent as well. Come hungry because you'll leave stuffed!

We were very happy with the food tour that Laura arranged for us. Five different restaurants and a short walk to 19th century homes on Vine St. Laura imparted a thorough history as we walked and ate. Our only regret was that we were too full to go back for dinner to one of the restaurants. We highly recommend this tour.

On our first trip to Paso we booked this last-minute walking and food tour. We not only lucked out in a great tour, amazing food and fantastic history, we made a friend too. Laura is so warm and welcoming you feel like you have known her forever. she does a great job of tailoring the tour to your specific tastes and needs. Her passion for Paso really shines through in the tour, because she is so well researched in the stories of the families, brothels and businesses that have made Paso what it is today. At each stop on the tour we felt like we were insiders because she had a special relationship with all of the shop owners and wine makers. On top of everything else, we felt like for the price, we got a great deal. We were very full after this tour, and had lots of wine to take home! We look forward to going on her other tours in SLO and the chocolate tour as well and seeing Laura again.
