Owner description: What Better Way to Discover Paso Robles' Warm Hospitality, Farm-Fresh Food and Award-Winning Wines than by a Guided Walking Tour? A Central Coast Food Tour in Paso Robles will introduce you to this new culinary frontier where food, wine and history come together to create a most delicious experience. Did you know a Paso Robles wine won Wine Spectator's "Wine of the Year" in 2010, and the area was recently named the West Coast's "most exciting wine region" by Sunset Magazine? On your tour you'll enjoy a mix of food and wine tastings at six specially selected food and wine venues that best represent the array of agricultural, culinary and viticultural resources in the area. We'll help you get oriented to all that Paso (as we locals refer to the area) has to offer.

“Great for locals and visitors alike!”
Reviewed May 21, 2012

My family and I had such a great time on the SLO food tour that we decided to sign up for the new Paso food tour. As North County residents, we often visit Paso, but we were excited at the prospect of trying new restaurants (there are far too many to try on our own) and learning about the history of the town (which we knew little about). The tour exceeded all of our expectations! Laura, our guide, is so gracious and knowledgeable. She took us to some excellent restaurants, wine bars, and even a cheese shop that had some local cheese. Along the way, she also enlightened us about Paso's fascinating past. I highly recommend this tour, whether you're a local looking for some good eats or a visitor looking for a a fun way to spend the day!

Thanks so much for the kind words! It was great fun to spend mother's day with 2 generations of mothers, and their lovely daughter. By the end of the day, I felt a part of the family!

“Best way to experince Paso Robles”
Reviewed May 7, 2012

We were only able to spend a short two days in the area, and found this tour as a wonderful way to discover some great local restaurants. Not only was the food outstanding, but to learn that they use fresh local ingredients made it even better .
We were also introduced to two outstanding wineries. The owners were there to explain their wines and small matchings with our tastings ( it's nice to have a local guide who knows everyone )
If that wasn't worth the price alone, our fun and energetic guide was able to show and tell us lots of great "Paso" history and interesting stories. What a great way to see, taste and learn all about Paso Robles.

“The Best of Paso Robles”
Reviewed May 7, 2012

Whenever visiting the Central Coast with friends I try to get booked into the San Luis Obispo Food Tour as a way for quests to really see a side of the city not readily available for the regular tourist. Always a pleasure and all are pleased.
Now, check this out...Yule and Laura Gurreau have had such success with the San Luis Tour that they have now added a Paso Robles Tour. What a find that is in a wine oriented area of the Central Coast. Not only did we sample a few excellent wines, but we added local cheeses and visited some places that I never knew existed in Paso Robles. Like Thomas Hill Organics who specialize in farm to table foods...add in visiting the original train station which is now a wine bar.. The mile plus walk was flat and we saw some of the original homes, some remodeled and some dating back 100 years. There was a stop at a wine shop that blended their own wines from the pletheria of grapes available on the Central Coast. And if you did not want to inbibe in wine, try some of their soda's, like the cream soda or home made root beer. So refreshing on a warm day in Paso Robles. I understand they are planning on doing some evening tours with a possible picnic dinner in the park with music later in the summer.
Dont miss out on this oned.
