This small shop carries amazing cheeses and welcomes you to taste any and all of them. The very patient and friendly staff will cut sliver after sliver of exotic cheeses for you and explain the type of milk and technique used to make each one. They offer a wide range of cheese types, no problem finding too many that you will want to buy! They also have a small, but good stock of breads, crackers, condiments, etc. to make a picnic, but go for the cheese first. This is far and away the best cheese shop I've visited anywhere from the quality of the cheese selections to the friendly, knowledgeable staff. Each time I go, I buy far too much cheese and then have the fun of consuming it all.

We learned that 'cheese is milk's attempt a immortality' from the delightful owner of this market! Not only did we select some of the best cheeses from her global collection...but there were also salted baguettes that were simply the best.

Pull off 101...walk over if you are in Paso Robles...this is a first class purveyor...with quality products Yes picnic...but much more.

Incredible cheeses! I could have tasted and bought some of each if my husband didn't stop me. They will let you taste anything before you buy it. Great selection and price. Don't forget the salted French bread go with the cheese. Stop by a winery picnic area with a bottle of wine and you are set for the day!

Got some creamy goat cheese (almost like Brie), but their Sea Salt baguette was awesome! Be sure to get real butter - bread best if eaten the same day, but we didn't find that to be difficult.

We learned of this cheese store/market from the reception desk at our hotel. This was a great place to pick up our picnic supplies before heading off for some wine tasting. They encourage you to taste their wide variety of cheeses before purchase...no better way to experience something new than to taste test prior to investing! The bread we bought there was delicious, and one of their sausages is made locally by an Italian restaurant...YUM. A few olives, and off we went. Lest I forget, the lady helping us with our order also recommended some smaller (which I prefer), less travelled "boutique" wineries.
