Over the top luxury and location and views. This is a must see for anyone that thinks Napa has a leg up on the Paso wine region. Very crowded the day of our visit, but plenty of staff available and it still felt personal (sharing with 60+ others in the tasting room). Views - wow. While we were there, a couple were standing on the edge of the property - looking a bit like they were going to jump. Well, kind of did. He drops to his knee and pulls out the ring box and proposes right there on the spot.
Wines? All solid and good but nothing memorable. Several tiers of wines, so perhaps going more upscale will improve the quality. We ordered a food tray and it too was good.
Overall, a little bit too much Big City glam, but I prefer the tiny boutique wineries with limited hand crafted production, so my opinion is tainted. It is a must see for all the out of towners.
