“Worth a stop”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

Right off Highway 101 between San Miguel and Paso Robles, San Marcos Creek Winery is always worth a stop. Nice tasting room, usually hosted by the winemaker or his wife; and an Australian Shepherd greeter. Rhone varietals, unerringly well-crafted, and fairly priced. Mere $5.00 tasting fee. Nice grounds, a few food items and wine-related items for sale. I stop here 2-3 times/year when I travel the Central Coast to taste wine and relax.

“Lovely winery”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

We stopped in at this winery and so glad we did. Great wine and Cathy was so friendly and such a pleasure to talk with. The winery itself was very well taken care of and looked quaint and inviting. There was a good variety of items to purchase that was wine related and they offer original art from a local artist. We purchased a piece made from barbed wire, we love to get unique items on our travels. Had a great time, the wine was awesome and the experience was wonderful. Try this winery when in Paso!!!!!

“Good Wine (still) Begins in the Vineyard”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

Since my last review I have visited San Marcos Creek several times.
It is always a pleasure to stop in and see Brady and Cathy in the tasting room.
They have some new wines for you to enjoy this spring 2013.
Stop in and give them a try. The tasting room is very easy to access from Highway 101.

“Great Winery, right off the highway”
Reviewed January 1, 2013 via mobile

Cathy and Brady greeted us as if we were long lost friends and it only got better from there. The wine is very tasty and the prices are very competitive with comparable wineries in the area. The tasting room is well laid out with great merchandise and the wine dogs were a blast. The view is very nice and we were offered the opportunity to purchase a bottle and relax on the back patio with a lunch that we had brought along. This is a must stop winery if you are touring the Paso Wine Region. The Red Table Wine was a nice surprise and the Zinfandel is very good.

“What a GREAT Experience!Experienced”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

We've been to Paso a couple of time, always a great time. This time we interest from the north as we came from SanFran. We stopped because it was one of the few places open mid week. Cindy at the tasting counter was very nice. We even bought a piece of her original art work. This is a family owned and operated winners. After tasting some of their wonderful wines the owner showed up. He was very open and friendly. We asked if asked if he knew of a place we could get a tour of a vineyard. He had his son give us a full guided tour. What a super, unexpected event.
